VPK Program (4 Year Olds)

Children focus on oral language and vocabulary, phonological awareness, math skills and literacy through a combination of instruction, group activities and centers.

  • Recognize vowels, consonants, blends, sounds of one-vowel and two vowel words, sounds of long vowels
  • Write letters of the alphabet and words
  • Count 1 to 100, recognize 1-30, distinguish before and after numbers, and answer simple combinations
  • Begin reading simple stories

VPK Curriculum
